Marketing Coordinator

DevelopmentNow is a growing, leading-edge digital agency founded in 2005 located in the vibrant Central Eastside district of Portland. Our office shares the neighborhood with many partnering digital agencies and creative firms, plus we are close to the best coffeeshops this side of the Burnside Bridge. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team.

Our Marketing Coordinator will lead all marketing efforts, including writing and editing articles, owning all client-facing documents and sales materials, maintaining our company website, attending local events, and running all social media accounts. Our ideal candidate will have some interest with branding and design and will have experience in an agency environment.

We focus on using Agile Scrum methodologies, industry best practices, and innovative solutions to deliver tangible value to businesses and organizations via new technology and reliable processes. DevelopmentNow has provided digital solutions for a variety of companies, including startups, agency partners, and enterprise Fortune 500 firms. Some of our notable clients include Google, Nike, adidas, Microsoft, BBDO, AT&T, Ogilvy, Comcast, Kelly Services, Manheim, Avis, Pioneer, Avery Dennison, and Time Warner Cable.

What We're Looking For

  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience in marketing (MBA is a bonus)
  • You have a strong background in writing and a good eye for photography
  • You have experience running social media (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • You have a friendly, outgoing personality
  • You are self-directed and driven
  • You keep up with the latest trends in the tech world
  • You have intermediate familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities of a Marketing Coordinator

  • Designing and implementing a marketing plan
  • Managing all marketing campaigns
  • Writing and editing articles
  • Generating content for all social media accounts
  • Updating and improving the company website
  • Creating sales and marketing materials
  • Coordinating all client-facing documents
  • Establishing and enforcing the company brand
  • Assisting with company events (internal and external)
  • Finding speaking engagement opportunities for the company
  • Going to local events, meetups, and conferences
