We are an IE shop (No netscape, Firefox, etc). My question is do I need to
install both the Flash_Player_Active_X.msi and the Flash_Player_Plugin.msi or
since we are stricktly IE do I only need to install the Active_X on our
workstations?

In other words is there any Flash content the explicitly requires the use one
vs the other?

Hi Testuser327,

For Internet Explorer, you only need to install the Flash_Player_Active_X.msi.

The Flash_Player_Plugin.msi is for Netscape / Fireworks like browsers.

To correct..

For IE on a single user machine, you would install the Flash Player activeX
control by hitting the CAB installer at http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer.

To install the MSI you'd complete the license form at
http://www.adobe.com/licensing.

And Darren is right otherwise, you only need the plugin for NON-IE browsers.
IE uses the activeX control, everything else uses the plugin.
