What Our Team Says
“It’s a place where I’m kept on my toes because every day I know what I’m doing that day but ultimately my talents and knowledge end up being used in multiple other beneficial ways.” Adam Leonard QA Engineer
“In my work, I value agency and autonomy: the ability to contribute to what we do and have those contributions matter. I’m glad I get both here, and so does the rest of our team.” Brendan Adkins iOS Developer
“I love that DevelopmentNow invests in its employees by providing opportunities to learn and advance. The company’s direction feels tied to the growth of individuals.”
Mara Connolly Studio Manager
Transforming Print to Digital with the Avery Dennison Colour Swatch App
DevelopmentNow converted the company’s physical color swatch books into a mobile app for iOS and Android that allows customers to order color samples directly from the app after carefully comparing selections. Avery Dennison showed off their new Colour Swatch app at FESPA, the signage and packaging material industry’s largest annual conference, at the Cologne Exhibition Centre in Germany.
Girl Rising Film Companion Web Experience
Girl Rising is a global movement to change perceptions about girls around the world. The Girl Rising film features stories of these girls told by Hollywood legends, including Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. The premier was a star studded affair in NYC. DevelopmentNow built a responsive companion site for the Girl Rising film that had to withstand the estimated traffic load. The multimedia site features behind the scenes clips from the movie, the Girl Rising store where supporters can purchase merchandise, movie screening request capabilities, and information about the Girl Rising movement.
ArcadeNow – Connecting Commuters Through Retro Gaming
What happens when you mix one beloved retro game, a team of talented developers, and an office view of Portland, Oregon’s busiest bridge? We wanted to know too. That’s why we built ArcadeNow, an interactive gaming system that allows anyone to play on their smartphone. ArcadeNow is a social experiment to understand how nostalgia and gaming can bring joy to mundane daily tasks like walking by our office window during a daily commute.
